A sixth generation Marin County native, Barr Haney has been passionate about real estate, architecture and design since childhood. Barr jump-started his career with an internship at a commercial real estate firm in San Francisco. The valuable experience gained on the business side of real estate was brought with him back to his hometown in Marin where he joined Frank Howard Allen Realtors in 2004. In his four years with the agency, Barr earned awards including Rookie of the Year, the Million Dollar Club Award, the President’s Bronze Award of Distinction and numerous Client Service Awards.
Recognizing his passion and success in the business, many local real estate firms expressed interest. Barr’s vision of a dominant and innovative real estate firm was captured only in the essence of Morgan Lane, which he joined in 2008. “It’s an honor to work alongside such an elite, tight-knit group of people. Barr incorporates his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz into his business in order to best serve and understand his clients’ needs. Outside of real estate, Barr enjoys an active lifestyle and activities including running, skiing, snowboarding, soccer, photography and most of all, traveling. Having been to over 55 countries including Malaysia, Russia and Kiribati he loves surrounding himself with different cultures, people and of course, architecture.
