Julie is on the board of several organizations including the YMCA of Richmond District and Friends of Mountain Lake Park. She is a Richmond Booster member of the Richmond District Neighborhood Center, a PTO member for Argonne Elementary, a volunteer for Congregation Beth Sholom Preschool and has raised more than $10,000 for the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in several triathalons.
