Our business managing Top Agent Network is a lot like yours as a real estate agent. Just as your seller is your client, our member agents are our clients. And just like a seller views your listing brochure as theirs, too, our members think of our logo as also belonging to them. Agents market their TAN membership to attract and impress clients. A key part of this marketing is the Top Agent Network verified member logo.
Membership in TAN is about strong agent collaboration AND verified sales success. So we wondered, which is more important to emphasize in our logo: community or stature? To answer this critical question we hired marketing professionals and designers to help us create the “ideal” logo. No surprise: no matter what logo we chose some (okay, many) members had other ideas!
Sometimes, even our TAN management team had a hard time agreeing. So many passionate opinions! In the case of the logo, we knew that it wasn’t we staffers but our members who needed to like the logo. So we surveyed the TAN membership, giving agents four distinct logo choices. The good news is that regardless of geography or chapter size, the response was very strong with one clear winner:

So the results proved it: while the connections of each TAN chapter community make TAN hum, at the end of the day, it’s your hard-earned top status that you want your clients to know about. Good thing we’re called “Top Agent Network”!
